Will using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while driving trigger a violation in LifeSaver app?

LifeSaver will trigger a violation when the driver unlocks the screen to try to access their apps.  Given that a driver can use Apple Car Play and Android Auto platforms without unlocking the phone screen, there would be no violation recorded.
