Today we packed up our pop-up banner, business cards, table cloth, and flyers, and headed off to San Francisco to set up for Apps World 2014. Apps World events are 2 day developer events with marketing application conferences and app exhibitions. The shows represent the entire app ecosystem, with over 8,000 developers, mobile marketers, mobile operators, device manufacturers, platform owners, and industry professionals present. Big names such as LG, HP, IBM, Intel, and Dolby will be exhibiting there, along with 200+ other app companies. The types of apps represented is very vast, coming from industries such as gaming, marketing, advertising, security, and food. Attendees are lucky enough to receive the opportunity to listen to some of the 300+ speakers present, including the co-founder of Playfish, Kristian Segerstrale, the developer advocate of Chrome, Paul Irish, and the co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak.
With Apps World being LifeSaver’s first big show of this type, we are very excited to meet with people in the same industry, along with spreading word about our LifeSaver name and our cause to end distracted driving.
